The Washington Freedom will begin the evening with a match against the womens team of Nottingham Forest at 5:00 PM. Immediately following the friendly, D.C. United will battle the Reds with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 PM. Nottingham Forest FC completed the 2003-04 season in 14th position among 24 teams in the English First Division with a final record of 15-16-15.

At halftime of the D.C. United match, the U.S. Soccer Foundation, D.C. United and the D.C. Sports & Entertainment Commission will formally unveil the 2003 Founders Cup Championship Banner for the Washington Freedom.  The banner will be permanently hung on the south wall of the stadium alongside various MLS CUP Championship banners captured by D.C. United.
