The Maryland SoccerPlex High School 8v8 Summer League offers your team the chance to get ahead of the competition. We encourage local high school coaches to join us for this great opportunity for your players to have fun together this summer and to prepare for the fall Varsity and Junior Varsity season.

Season Time:

The season begins June 18th and ends August 1st  (we have August 6th and 8th rain dates if needed).

The deadline to register your team is June 10th.

Teams have the option of a 6-game season or an 8-game season.
Games will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Game start times will be between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Requests can be taken for preferred game days or dates.

Fee:

6-game season: $460/team

8-game season: $585/team

*This is a team-based registration. The coach or manager will register the team and pay the team fee. Please check that you are registering for the correct session. At the conclusion of that registration, the team coach or manager will send the rest of the team members an invitation to register as a team member.

REFUND POLICY: All refunds given will be minus a $50 administration fee. No refunds will be made after the season has started.

The coach or manager will register the team, then you will be able to invite players to the team upon completion of the registration!  All players must be registered by June 17. Players who have not registered are ineligible to play. Click here for instructions on how to invite players.

Ages:
All high school players are eligible. This includes incoming freshmen and recently graduated seniors. Although the league consists primarily of teams from local high schools, club teams are welcome. Players may play on two teams but must be rostered for both.

Game Fields:
All games will be played on the beautiful fields of the award-winning Maryland SoccerPlex.

Format:
8v8 (includes goalkeeper); two 25-minute halves, 5-minute halftime

Competition:
Teams can consist of varsity or junior varsity players or a combination of the two. If a sufficient number of teams register, we will offer separate varsity and junior varsity level divisions.

Uniforms:
Uniforms will not be provided. Players on all teams are required to bring a white and colored jersey to each game. Home team white/light – Away team dark

Scores/Standings:
No scores or standings will be kept.
