Indoor COVID Rules

Practices/Training

  • Masks must be worn by all persons at all times, INCLUDING PLAYERS ON THE COURTS
  • No more than 25 people, including all players, coaches, and team staff may be on and/or around the court. 
  • No spectators are allowed inside the Adventist HealthCare Fieldhouse. Players, Coaches, and Officials may enter the building.
  • Social distancing should be followed when possible.  This means no team huddles, group talks, etc.
  • No chairs allowed on the arena floor.  Non-active players should maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet.
  • No communal water coolers.
  • All players and coaches must complete and sign (parent signature for minors) a Health Check and Waiver Form, within 12 hours of the start of the rental time.  These forms will be collected by Adventist HealthCare Fieldhouse staff when entering the building at the start of the rental.
  • All persons entering the building will be subject to a temperature check as a condition of entry.
  • Only low and medium-risk sports are currently allowed at the Adventist HealthCare Fieldhouse.  Basketball is currently not an allowed sport.
  • Only teams from Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia may play at the Adventist HealthCare Fieldhouse.

Rental Information

The Adventist HealthCare Fieldhouse is now open for rentals!

Every participant (coaches included) MUST fill out the following form within 12 hours before the activity, every time they are on campus. To access the youth waiver click here and to access the adult waiver click here

The major points regarding the rentals are facility Use will be by court rentals only. Only full-court rentals will be permitted, half courts will not be available. No drop-ins will be permitted.

  • Rentals will begin at 9:00 AM Mon-Friday and 8:00 AM on Sat-Sun. Rentals must be complete by 10:00 PM.
  • The rental requests must be submitted at least 48 hours in advance of the requested time and paid in full via credit card before a court assignment will be provided.
  • Facility Rental Rules are subject to change at all times due to continually changing restrictions from State and Local government.
  • Groups will be allotted 50 mins for activities, with a 10-minute buffer between groups to minimize cross over of people. Groups that rent space for consecutive hours do not have to leave the court between sessions.
  • Groups will be limited to 25 persons per court and groups cannot co-mingel with order groups/courts
  • Courts will be assigned by Adventist HealthCare Fieldhouse staff based on the number of rentals and types of activities. Specific court requests will not be accepted or honored.
  • Bathrooms will be made available and will be cleaned regularly. All guests must adhere to social distancing guidelines while in the bathrooms.
  • MASKS MUST BE WORN IN AT ALL TIMES INSIDE THE FIELDHOUSE
  • Only approved sports within the County Guidelines for the current reopening phase will be allowed.
  • Hand Sanitizer stations have been installed around the fieldhouse and at all restrooms.
  • A Mask Relief Area has been created outside on the stadium concourse behind the Café, where individuals may go and remove their masks when needed. Social distancing must be maintained while in the Mask Relief Area. Masks must be worn prior to returning inside the building.
  • Rental Agreement forms should be completed and emailed to reservations@mdsoccerplex.org no less than 48 hours in advance. You will receive confirmation and a court assignment no later than 24 hours in advance of your requested date and time.
