FAQ’S
What will the children do all day?
Campers will explore the world of sports and play a variety of games throughout the morning. During cool-down periods, campers will get a chance to create theme-based arts and crafts projects.
Is the camp indoors or outdoors?
Sports Explorers is both an indoor & outdoor camp. Campers will start the day indoors at the Adventist HealthCare Fieldhouse and will venture outdoors for a little fun in the sun.
What should my child wear?
Campers should wear comfortable athletic clothing/shoes.
What should I pack for my child?
Be sure to send your camper with snacks and plenty of water.
What should I pack for my child on Splash Park days?
On days that we visit the Splash Park, please have your child wear their swimsuit under their play clothes and make sure to pack a towel & change of clothes (shirt, shorts, socks and sneakers). If you opt to put these items in a secondary bag, please make sure that it is something that your child can easily identify as their own. Additionally, please apply sunscreen prior to your arrival to camp. If your child needs to reapply throughout the day, please make sure to pack some in their bag.
Do the campers have to wear masks?
Masks are optional.
What is the withdrawal & refunds policy:
Withdrawal and refund requests must be submitted prior to the start of camp week session. Refunds will be given minus a $50 non-refundable administration fee per camp week. This administration fee applies to ALL camps held at the Maryland SoccerPlex and Adventist HealthCare Fieldhouse.
