Sports Explorers Camp

Introducing an exciting new camp designed especially for preschoolers ages 3-5! Sports Explorers is a scaled-down version of our popular Fun for All Sports Camp. This morning half-day camp runs from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, offering 3.5 hours of engaging activities each week. Campers will explore a variety of sports, enjoy playground games, unleash their creativity with arts and crafts, dive into storytelling, and participate in fun weekly themed activities. Adding to the adventure, campers will join the older Fun for All Sports Camp kids on trips to the Splash Park and the nearby park by the Mooseum—both conveniently located on our grounds!

Campers will explore the world of sports and play a variety of games throughout the morning. During cool-down periods, campers will get a chance to create theme-based arts and crafts projects.

Is the camp indoors or outdoors?
Sports Explorers is both an indoor & outdoor camp. Campers will start the day outdoors with a little fun in the sun and then will venture indoors for arts and court games.

What should my child wear?
Campers should wear comfortable athletic clothing/shoes.

What should I pack for my child?
Be sure to send your camper with snacks and plenty of water.

What should I pack for my child on Splash Park days?
On days that we visit the Splash Park, please have your child wear their swimsuit under their play clothes and make sure to pack a towel & change of clothes (shirt, shorts, socks and sneakers). If you opt to put these items in a secondary bag, please make sure that it is something that your child can easily identify as their own. Additionally, please apply sunscreen prior to your arrival to camp. If your child needs to reapply throughout the day, please make sure to pack some in their bag.

Where do I drop off my camper?
Welcome emails will be sent to parents before the start of the camp week with information about the field location for drop-off. Drop-off times are between 8:45am-9:15am.

Where do I pick up my camper?
Sports Explorers mini campers pick up will be at the main building, Adventist HealthCare Fieldhouse.

Do the campers have to wear masks?
Masks are optional.
